Why Buy $15 Dog Toys When Empty Toilet Tissue Rolls Are Just As Much Fun?

Anyone who has had a dog probably knows that they are often easily amused and can find the dumbest stuff to play with.
Mine have been abusing what was an almost empty plastic jug of coffee creamer (the large size Kroger kind) that a cat who won’t stay off the kitchen counter (Missy) knocked off, and have just had a fine time with it for about three days now. Especially because it makes lots of noise too, if you’re Petey and having fun tossing it around like a basketball on the hardwood floor in the living room.
Yesterday was an extra special day as they finally got all the wrapping off of it, so there was that to play with and tear up and chew on and toss everywhere too. Yep, it’s super exciting at the Zone this week.

For my kitty, it’s plastic bags and straws.

Oh, I have two of those that are plastic addicts. One of them has had a habit of talking to rolls of duct tape too so I’m not sure that plastic hasn’t been like LSD for kitty brains.

my cat liked the plastic bags too, my mother complains about it constantly (she took her)
my dog ruined the last two toys I bought. The free thing thrown from a mardi gras float that I randomly gave to him is still kicking. I refuse to buy any more toys. I have one more I already bought, but I’m saving it for when he calms down… ha.

My cat likes old shoelaces. And she prefers to sleep in a box despite the fact that she has a choice two kitty beds.

Dixie likes plastic 20 oz. soft drink bottles. If you bring one over and don’t watch it very carefully, she’ll cart it off, bite a hole in it and spill the contents all over the floor.

My dog doesn’t play with anything. He likes to sleep and get pet and eat…oh and drink beer.

Our cat is actually scared of plastic bags - he’s not normal. But the dog LOVES plastic water bottles and the cardboard paper towel/toilet paper tubes.
