So, There’s This Thing…

Some know I have been working on a particular new project for a little while and it’s finally live and going. I won’t be advertising it in the sidebar or anything such out of respect for WP views on keeping commercialism out of the ‘com, but wanted to bring up that it’s out there, not only for obvious reasons but because some of you will soon be getting some add requests and the like.
Don’t worry, there’ll be no spamming in comments or bulletins or spamming your friends lists (well, unless it’s someone I already know LOL!) and that kind of thing. And frankly, I’ve already put some elbow grease into some conventional ‘net advertising and traditional exposure as well as being blessed with the generosity of some friends who have resources in some prime online real estate.
For what it’s worth, the sites I’m reviewing are valid and mostly of the better quality, there’s no getting rich quick and it can be tedious, but valid, work, but it’s stuff that really does work with a little time and effort. If you get interested in checking some of it out for yourself, I swear most of it’s so easy that with a very minimal amount of time and effort, only a blind person would have much trouble coming up with enough for beer funds or a trip out to eat funds, you know? Heck, even a blind person could do it with text-to-speech computer capability.
Having already run into some prejudice by an advertising conglomerate I won’t name here and who I not only used successfully in the past and spent lots of money with and gave good word of mouth all over the Internet about for years, that’s just made me even MORE out to prove that one can do this honestly without spamming or ripping anyone off – heck, I’m not even selling anything and any benefit to me has the same opportunity for someone else. Yeah, there’s lots of snake oil salesmen and crap out there on the ‘Net and I came across a lot of it myself when I was out of work and getting desperate, and first started getting into this area. My aim is to lead people in the direction of the better and quality resources that are out there instead and prove that it can be done honestly without selling barrels full of snake oil.
In any case, after much remodeling and revising and going through about twenty templates and testing them all with my focus testing group who deemed that template the better of them all (i.e., Mom – her fault if you hate the colors, haha), it’s finally going and live here, so check it out if you want. Rack up a little spare change for yourself while you’re there if you want, but read the “Read Before You Start” first. (And if you’re a Nashville/Memphis/Knoxville/TN blogger who has a service or something that could use some advertising and I know you or kinda know you, by all means please shoot me an e-mail ‘cos I’ll hook you up for… well, let’s just say you will be REAL happy with my “fee” quote.)
As for MySpace, MyBlogLog, Twitter, StumbleUpon and the like… all I ask of our Tennessee & related blogging community is that if you happen to get an add request or some such from someone kinda familiar looking, please accept it if you will. I promise she’s a nice person and just wants to sit there on your list quietly and not bother anybody, no comment or bulletin spamming or such, just wants to sit there quietly on the list or interact socially a little like anyone else, that’s it. (PS Don’t feel you have to follow me back on Twitter unless you just want to, I just want to sit quietly on your list LOL…)
Thanks so much to all for any support you can offer in that regard, I am already grateful for some of the encouragement and support from those who knew about it before now and thanking anyone else willing to help that way too in advance, so thank you. If things go better than I cautiously expect (which at this point, and after having been out of work for four months until recently, is basically hoping to be able to breathe instead of worrying about how I’m going to keep a roof over my head and the utilities paid) I will certainly remember all who were willing to help this way if there’s ever cause to celebrate! Thanks again. :)
