In Which All the Lipton Green Tea with Citrus is Half Frozen, So I Evaluate A New Product

RE:  New Sierra Mist Cranberry Splash

What it is:  Lemon-Lime Soda “with a splash of cranberry” (and caffeine free)

Verdict:  Not impressed.  I am thinking this is one of those things that might only be good with some alcohol added to it.  But I say “might” because…

Helpful Hint:  Whatever you do, do NOT add coconut rum to it.  Ick.

You’d think an Icee would be good with rum in it. Nope. It tastes like rubbing alcohol and hummingbird nectar.

It disturbs me wondering why you know what hummingbird nectar tastes like, Smiley….? :P

It sounds more like a vodka drink to me.

Churlita, I believe that vodka is probably the ONLY alcohol that belongs in it.

However, since the actual problem is the taste and vodka basically has no taste, I dunno that it really helps (other than the fact that after you drank a few like that it wouldn’t matter what it tastes like).

Also, an addendum – mix it with rum and leave it out to get warm and it basically smells like cough syrup. ICK.

All I can say is “gross”…. And you think the cranberry mix would be a good thing.
